Mungfali ka tel, or cold-pressed groundnut oil, comes from peanuts pressed through a wooden kolhu that keeps the batch close to room temperature throughout. This groundnut oil, cold-pressed the traditional way, retains a mild, nutty flavour that refined versions lose during processing.
